Ernie Willis- We talked to Complete Music at the bridal show and there was never any question that we wanted them to be our DJ company. Your scale does not go high enough to rate the courtesy and friendliness of Complete Music. Our DJ, Alan, had a 77 year old man break dancing - need I say any more!?? I would not hire any of the companies that I have seen at other functions. Complete Music is the only name under "DJ Service" in my Rolodex as of this morning! Tracy Klecker- Alan was willing to do whatever we asked of him, and I so much appreciated that. He knew exactly what ambiance was needed. The previous DJ I had hired was so boring and there were no lights. The light show added so much. My guests and I danced the night away. Terry Gissel Morris- Complete Music is leaps and bounds above the rest! I have seen some very poor Dj's who just played what they want, ignored bridal and/or guests' requests, and Alan knew how to get the people dancing. He was also great at keeping tabs on me and making sure I was aware of everything important that was happening. He kept things moving smoothly and perfectly as the evening progressed. The end of the reception closing routine was great- funny and memorable. We have received many comments on how great Alan was at our reception.  Alan is a fun and energetic professional DJ/MC who brings a lot of enthusiasm and knowledge to each event, understanding that no two events are the same. His personality and customer service skills will ensure that each and every event will be one to remember. How would you describe your personality? Fantastic. I think I'm charming. I try to really connect with people. What makes you Unique as a DJ? I'm mostly an entertainer. I like to make people laugh and have a great time, but I leave the knock knock jokes at home. Most days.
Why do you enjoy working at Complete Music?
It's really well organized and professionally managed. I can do what I love, DJ, and not have to worry so much about the behind the scenes stuff. What is your #1 goal at a dance? That the host is taken care of. That they know that I am here to make their night go smoothly and their event that they've been planning for awhile will be better than they had planned.
Why do you enjoy performing at Weddings / special events?
Well, I get to be a part of something really awesome. Whether it's a wedding, or a charity function, or a Holiday party, it's something that people will hopefully remember.

Michelle Axson- I thought Ryan was the best, most cooperative and friendly DJ I have been paired with in the past years of working with Complete Music and Video. He did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor the whole time. He did an excellent job, and I would definitely request him again.
Anna Wertz- Complete Music kept in touch by phone and email. they really listened to what we needed. Ryan was wonderful!! He was friendly and felt like an old friend.
Elizabeth Erquitt- We had the best experience. Our DJ was couterous, entertaining and amazing. I could NOT have asked for a better person to be our DJ. It was more than just the music. The whole experience was worth it! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
 Ryan is our newest kid on the block, and so far, we love him! As a musician himself, he brings good taste and amazing guest service to each event.
How would you describe your personality?
I think I'm a pretty cool guy. I'm a free spirit/rocker type...really energetic, funny, and always running around looking for a new adventure.
What makes you Unique as a DJ?
In any role I've ever played, I've always had the "when you say 'Jump,' I say 'How High?'" type of mentality. With previous jobs in customer service, I can really apply that servant's heart to my guests at different events. Also, I've never been and never will be the cheesy annoying DJ that walks around awkwardly serenading your guests.
Why do you enjoy working at Complete Music?
Who wouldn't want to be a DJ? It's a lot of fun. Every night is different. The people I meet are from all sorts of different backgrounds. It's great to be a part of something so important for people. Party-ing for a living is never bad either.
What is your #1 goal at a dance?
To give everyone a good time they will remember. I love to see people jumping around, dancing, and having an amazing time.
Why do you enjoy performing at Weddings / special events?
You get to see everyone having a great time and making memories. If I'm doing my job right, the energy is never dull. What's not to enjoy? |

Cynthia Branch- Phil was absolutely great. Considering that the temperatures were in the 90's and the reception was outdoors, wedidn't have many people on the dance floor, but he continued to take requests throughout the reception and was the consummate professional. Should the need arise, I will definitely contact Complete Music and Phil again. Thank you!
Richard Worth- Absolutely the best DJ services that I have ever experienced. The guests were happy and they had a wonderful time. Phil was happy, played an excellent selection of music, and was very attentive to any requests or changes that were needed to keep the crowd happy.
Janice Moore- Everyone was very prompt in calling us back and used great professionalism when assisting us in the planning. Phil was very friendly, courteous, and professional, and did an awesome job in getting the crowd involved. Complete Music and Phil are the greatest!  Phil is a highly talented and personable DJ that will take care of everything you need, from the special events to the dancing. Also and accomplished local radio personality, DJ Phil's events are sure to be fun and memorable. How would you describe your personality? I think I'm pretty easy to connect with. I have one of those can talk to anyone about anything type personalities.
What makes you Unique as a DJ? I'm a total music fan. I have a pretty broad range of musical loves. It makes it easy for me to pin down a hosts musical "type" and really put that into their event. Why do you enjoy working at Complete Music? I love that everyone here has been in the DJ business for awhile. I don't feel like I have to spell it out so much like I do when I'm talking to some of the newer guys.
What is your #1 goal at a dance?
Really, to make sure that I connect with the host and get a good grasp of their style. Once I do that I can translate that into an awesome event where everyone is happy and taken care of.
Why do you enjoy performing at Weddings / special events?
It's different than radio. Every event has it's own personality and it's never a bad thing to meet new people and watch them get excited over music and entertainment.

Antoinette McIntyre- Wayne was great! He was very patient with our picking out songs. He really got the crowd involved. Lots of good music with many varieties. Everyone enjoyed the music.
Debbie Ipock- We went with Complete Music because they are reputable and dependable. I have had much experiences with DJs over the years, as I have sponsored proms and fund raising events both in NC and SC. Not once had I been completely satisfied with the DJ- either they were late or did not follow specific instructions about song selection. Wayne however was wonderful and so much better than what I have seen in the past. Thank you!
Cynthia Branch- The difference is Night and Day. Complete Music is PROFESSIONAL and thorough. Too many of the other DJ services act as if it's all about THEM. Complete Music did everything to ensure that the bride and groom had the best possible entertainment.  The manager of the Charleston Complete Music & Video, Wayne has over 15 years experience helping brides and grooms celebrate their big day! How would you describe your personality? I think I'm generally very patient and caring. I love to entertain and share my passions.
What makes you Unique as a DJ?
I like to be fun and playful, but I leave the cheese factor at home. I see a lot of DJs (especially the older ones) struggle with that. I do have 15 years of experience under my belt so that is helpful. I'm a true Radiohead. Music is something that I'm passionate about both in the booth and out, so I'd like to think that translates into my DJ performance. Why do you enjoy working at Complete Music?
Well like I said, music is my passion. I play the guitar, but this is a way for me to make a living doing what I love. I love Complete Music though because I have such a great staff and co-workers around the country. It's great knowing that I'm a part of something professionally sound and innovative.
What is your #1 goal at a dance?
My goal is to make sure every guest is taken care of. My priority is always the host or guest of honor. I always make sure that they're more than well taken care of. It can be tough sometimes because you generally have a wide range of guests with different music tastes at each event. I try and make sure that I play a balance of different genres so everyone has something they like. Why do you enjoy performing at Weddings / special events?

Abigail Burek- Rob was an amazing DJ. He listened to what we wanted and that was to dance all night long. We danced our entire reception. All of our guests had such a great time with the help of Rob keeping the flow of the of the reception going. Rob was organized, professional, friendly and knew how to keep a crowd engaged. I will pass along Complete Music to others needing a DJ. I will also specifically mention Rob. I cannot thank him enough for making our wedding so memorable! Thank you Rob!
Cont. Everyone was dancing all night long, the song selection was so effective that my husband now starts dancing every time he hears the Usher song OMG. He doesn't like to dance that much but he was out on the dance floor all night long. People say it was the best wedding they had been to.
Rob was perfect!!
Lane Mckelvey- Rob was awesome! He even got out on the dance floor with the guests for the Cupid Shuffle. He continuously asked us questions to make sure things were playing out how we wanted them. He was GREAT!

How would you describe your personality?
I'm a people person and have a outgoing but not overbearing personality. I love meeting people whether it be a wedding, party or corporate event.
What makes you Unique as a DJ?
I like to contact my clients before every event and organize an event flow rather than "wing it". I prefer to "make" the event not "be" the event.
Why do you enjoy working at Complete Music?
Complete Music is by far the best DJ service in the lowcountry of Charleston, which is why I chose to work with for them! Everyone on our staff from the owner to our booking agent Dawn as well as our cast of DJ's are all well versed in making your event a success.
What is your #1 goal at a dance?
My number one goal is to make your wedding, party or corporate event a success and a night to remember.
Why do you enjoy performing at Weddings / special events?
I take a real pleasure in using my expertise and talents as a DJ and performer to make your special day a reality. When I leave an event hall, I like the feeling of satisfaction that comes with a job well done. I want my clients to feel the same after one of my events. That's what makes it all worthwhile.

Tara Erxleben- We love Complete Music! All the staff was helpful and Jay was enthusiastic. They made the wedding truly memorable and kept the night flowing with great fun. By far, Complete Music is the greatest!
